Hi Miguel, Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what happened, but the workbench was working fine until suddenly it crashed. After that I'm unable to open any .sql files without it crashing, meaning that I am unable to perform any work now. The Windows instance where the MySQL is installed it has no internet connection, and so updating would seem to be very difficult.. Would you know if there have been previous examples of such cases or if you can think of any potential workaround? Thank you. Best regards, Hendrick

Hi Miguel, I have found a work-around to opening .sql files - i.e. launch the WorkBench, and click open sql scripts, and it would be able to open it (as opposed to launching the sql straight before opening the WorkBench). However, now there's a new issue - when I try to edit the scripts, changing any letter immediately crash it - so I cannot edit anything now. Here's the error logs: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: MySQLWorkbench.exe Application Version: 8.0.11.0 Application Timestamp: 5aca6da1 Fault Module Name: parsers.dll Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 5aca6a43 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000000000002d623 OS Version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.272.7 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: 7579 Additional Information 2: 75799ae26ebeded9d70ff07a5e044158 Additional Information 3: 7dae Additional Information 4: 7dae2c5921e26edc95284159e73f2105 Would you be able to help with this please? Thank you. Best regards, Hendrick
