Description:
Hello,

When I am unable to open the MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE, I receive this error message dialog box:

Error while loading application state

The file
'C:\Users\Username\App Data\Roaming...\wb_state.xml' could not be loaded. Unable to parse XML file
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming...\wb_state.xml

How to repeat:
Press the MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE icon in the Windows Start Menu.

Suggested fix:
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE, but the issue persists.

The directory path is:=

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench\wb_state.xml

\Hello,

I was able to resolve the issue. I cut the xb_state.xml file from the MySQL\Workbench folder and I pasted it onto my desktop. Then I tried to open the MySQL Workbench program again. It opened with error message that the file was missing. So I cut and pasted back the file into the MySQL\Workbench folder. I closed the MySQL Workbench program and I opened it without any errors.

Thank you for the update.

Since wb_state.xml might be corrupted, I've been able to resolve this by:
1. Navigate to %AppData%\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench
2. Replace wb_state.xml with a healthy install version.
3. Restart and check if other files are corrupted (same folder)
