\Hello, I was able to resolve the issue. I cut the xb_state.xml file from the MySQL\Workbench folder and I pasted it onto my desktop. Then I tried to open the MySQL Workbench program again. It opened with error message that the file was missing. So I cut and pasted back the file into the MySQL\Workbench folder. I closed the MySQL Workbench program and I opened it without any errors.

Since wb_state.xml might be corrupted, I've been able to resolve this by: 1. Navigate to %AppData%\Roaming\MySQL\Workbench 2. Replace wb_state.xml with a healthy install version. 3. Restart and check if other files are corrupted (same folder)
