Description:
I am running the latest MySQL Workbench on an up-to-date Windows 10 64bit install. I can connect via the command line to my MySQL instance without issue. When I try to "test connection" or connect via MySQL Workbench, Workbench hangs and must be force closed.

I've changed the fonts being used to Lucinda Console Regular per a different ticket, that hasn't helped. I receive no crash logs or error. I have tried multiple different GA installations of Workbench to no avail.

I've attached a screenshot to the devs showing what happens.

How to repeat:
1. Open MySQL Workbench
2. Configure SSL CA Cert for Amazon MySQL RDS
3. Either test connection or try to connect to the db via the Workbench GUI.
4. Workbench will freeze almost immediately.

Got the same issue, but on OpenShift. Once I press Test Connection, MySQL hangs. This to me indicates something wrong with the settings, because when I enter everything correct it does connect ok.

Problem is that Test Connection button is now useless... :(

Please try version 6.3.8. Thanks.
