Description:
mySQL workbench versiion 6.3 CE can not be open, and display error message 
"Paramerter is not valid"

How to repeat:
I can not open the workbench, and the bug is still on.

Suggested fix:
I do not have any idaea!

I had the same thing as well. Recently I have installed an update to MySQL workbench. Before that it was working fine. I am also using windows 8.1 and it used to work without any problems before that update of mysql workbench

I'm already using the newest version of mySQL workbench. there is no newer one. thats what I found out when i checked for an update. what can i do? Should i just delete and download it again? there must be another solution. thanks in advance
