I had the same thing as well. Recently I have installed an update to MySQL workbench. Before that it was working fine. I am also using windows 8.1 and it used to work without any problems before that update of mysql workbench

I'm already using the newest version of mySQL workbench. there is no newer one. thats what I found out when i checked for an update. what can i do? Should i just delete and download it again? there must be another solution. thanks in advance
