Thank you for the bug report. The Connectors are installed at once when doing a fresh install, fails when adding.

Just one more nail to the coffin of the "MySQL Installer" and the whole concept of writing an installer in .NET. (I am a large-scale supplier of such nails myself! Let us get the coffin closed and the culprit burried ASAP) -- Peter -- not a MySQL/Oracle erson

Posted by developer: Thanks for the report It will be notified the teams for MySQL for Excel and Notifier due to this are specific issues for those products, it is probably needed to update your manifest to list the latest products (like the connectors) in the installer, or change the filter in the select products screen any additional findings will be updated

Posted by developer: The problem reported with MySQL Notifier is a bug of that specific product. The problem reported with the Connectors can't be reproduced, and needs a separate bug report. This bug was renamed to treat the problem found with the Excel prerequisite, that is not detecting correctly VSTO 2012.

Posted by developer: Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Installer 1.4.9 release, and here's the changelog entry: The Visual Studio Tools for Office 2010 Runtime requirement was clarified for MySQL for Excel. This requirement is different than Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio, which is not a substitute. Also, the MySQL for Excel installation documentation was updated. The related requirement now reads as follows: Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime, and MySQL Installer may install this for you. Note: This requirement is different than Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio, which is not a substitute. Thank you for the bug report.
