Could you please provide MySQL server Version you are accessing?
are you accessing to remote server/local server?
are you using root ?

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

High there,

I found lots of Bugs here about the same error over some years... its still not solved...

I habe the Problem using MySQL Server version 5.1.68 under Windows 7 (x64). There is no Error logged !

I think this Problem is caused by the different plattforms:

- Server 64-bit
- Workbench 32-bit (there is no 64-bit version available)

When I install the 32-bit server, the workbench works very well !!!

Seems, that I'm alone here ...

Well, mor Informations:

I have the Problem only on one Machine - a Macbook Air 13,3" (2012) under Windows 7 x64. Server is 64-Bit, Workbench: 32 Bit. I work also with an older Version Macbook Air 13,3" (2010) with identical Software-Configuration (Windows 7 x64 and same MySQL Versions). This old Notebook has no Problems with this Configuration and works without errors...

Therefore its probably another Apple-incompatibility...
