Description:
Recent update has SQL Additions windows un-dockable (that is, the window is always there). I never use it, but it can not be hidden, and has a minimal width of about 1/5 to 1/6 of the screen. I'd really like to hide it so I have more space to see the data (the main view). Thanks.

How to repeat:
There is no way to hide the window.

There are 3 "buttons" at the top right corner, just under "Oracle" while logo. The rightmost of them should enable/disable "SQL Additions" panel. Please, check if it works in your case.

To hide the SQL Additions Window:
In MySQL Workbench, from the menu: View/Panels/Hide Secondary Sidebar (when you do, the legend changes to "Show Secondary Sidebar" so you can get it back at any time).

Confirmed: Clicking the right-most button in the right corner hides the SQL Additions panel. Thank you.
