Description:
After installing "MySQL Installer for windows 5.5.23.0" on windows Server 2003 Standard SP2, "MySQL Command Line Client" failed to open up.

How to repeat:
Install "MySQL Installer for windows 5.5.23.0" on windows Server 2003 Standard SP2, I have to use the MySQL Command Line Client and it's not working. The Windows Is Opened for 2 seconds and shut down after. This is the message : Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted. 

Can someone help me?

I googled on this error and found reports that it could occur with missing or invalid my.ini/my.cnf 

So @jacques .. I think you should attach the configuration file (if you have any).

This is the first time on MySql Serv for me. 

@Miguel : I can't take one, i haven't time to do it. 

@Peter : Where can I find the cfg file? I check the Target poperties on the shortcut, and it's calling as you said C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\my.ini "-uroot" "-p" , but the file is not here.
