Description:
Tried to submit a bug, but it's not useful without quite a bit of pasted-in error messages, etc. I cannot paste into the mysql workbench "MySQL Bugs: Report" form using either Edit menu or command-V. Likewise, Edit->copy (or command-C), Edit->Undo (or command-Z) don't work.

[Maybe Mac-specific].

How to repeat:
Copy text from anywhere
Select field in this mysql-workbench form
Press Command-V (Mac) => nothing happens.
Go to Edit menu => Paste not available.

Same for Copy, Undo.

Suggested fix:
Just discovered work-around: Right-click mouse => select paste or copy works (no Undo option).

Suggested fix: Ideally, make menu and keyboard shortcuts work.

Thanks!
Fred

I have the same problem with Workbench 5.2.40 on Windows 7/64 bit. Up until a week or two ago, I could paste text into an SQL window, but now it is as though the clipboard is empty - even though I can paste the same clipboard into other apps.

Same result whether I use control-C, right-click and paste, or Paste from the edit menu. Is there any fix, or a Preference setting somewhere?

Fixed as of Workbench 5.2.41, and here's the changelog entry:

The MySQL Workbench bug reporting form (MySQL Bugs: Report) did not allow pasting content into the form.
