Thank you for the bug report. Do you mean Copy Row Content doesn't works?. Thanks in advance.

Copy row content works fine. The problem I'm having is able to select a subset of columns/rows using ctrl-c and paste them as a table into Excel/Email etc...using ctrl-v.

Indeed, Ctrl+C is just disabled when you select multiple rows in the query results grid. But Ctrl+Insert works OK for me, so this is a workaround.

Noted in 5.2.34 changelog. Multiple-selection copy did not work.

This is the most annoying lacking feature IMO. The ability to highlight, and then copy/paste, rows, columns, cells or the whole result set, tab delimited (or given the choice of delimiter), should be requirement of all graphical database querying tools. And it should be done via mouse clicks and keyboard shortcuts, not solely via context menu "Copy row content" type commands (yes obviously you should have that too, but not at the exclusion of mouse and keyboard shortcuts). The only "workaround" I've found is to export the entire result set to a file (which I find to be a extra hassle for no good reason). Note neither Ctrl+c or Ctrl+Ins work for me. (version 5.2.34 rev.7780)

Similar behavior on Mac using Workbench 5.2.34. Also, I am not even able to highlight more than one cell to copy. Only close alternative is to Query -> Export Results which is not good alternative.

Why is this bug closed? This is a real problem?

I have the same problem: It is impossible to mark multiple result rows in order to copy/paste them from Mysql Workbench 5.2.38 rev 8753 to other programs on Ubuntu 12.04. This is a major annoyance, it forces the user to save entire result sets in order to transfer them to other programs. :-(

Can this bug be reopened please? It's still a problem: You cannot highlight multiple columns nor rows nor cells and copy them.

Also, this isn't just on Windows. The same bug appears on OSX too (and it sounds like Ubuntu as well).
