Description:
I have had mysql setup and functioning for over a year now.
And today, I am encountering a problem when trying to open a connection that has been used fine in the past.
when i click on open the connection i have set up (I try all of them and the same thing happens) it says: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

We are sorry..... etc

Please advise...

I try clicking on anything in the MySQL Workbench and the same error comes up consistently/

Please, check if the same problem happens with a newer version of MySQL Workbench, 5.2.31.
