Description:
Hi,

I have an MySQL 5.0.21 installed in windows 2000 server and things are working good until this monday sept 13, 2010. When i go to MySQL administrator and click on Backup, then i select my backup projects i got an error messages:

Access violation at address 0032535A in module 'libmysqlx.dll'. Read of address 00000000

I can't perform my backup anymore and when i expand my tables it says "could not fetch columns".

Hoping for your solution and suggestions.

Thanks,
Mike

Please, send error log of your MySQL server. Usually it is <hostname>.err file in the data directory.

What exact version of MySQL Administrator do you use?

Server Information:
MySQL Version: It says
MySQL 5.0.21-community-nt via TCP/IP

Client Information: MySQL Client Version 5.0.11

I do not see any obvious crashed at server side, so let me repeat my last question:

What exact version of MySQL Administrator do you use?

Hi, Valeriy

  Mysql administrator version 1.1.9

I tried to stop the service but that did not help as well.

  Thanks,

Did you try to reboot the machine already?
[17 Sep 2010 0:14] Mike Mendoza
Hi,

Yes, I reboot my server 5 times already and got the same error - When i backup in mysql administrator and in mysql query browser " could not fetch column"

Thank you for the feedback.

You use very old version of our software. Please update MySQL administrator to version 1.1.20, or, better, to lates version of MySQL Workbench as we don't support MySQL Administrator and inform us if problem still exists.

Is there another way or workaround that i can resolve this problem?

Much Thanks.

We're sorry, but the bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking help on using MySQL products. Your problem is not the result of a bug.

Support on using our products is available both free in our forums at http://forums.mysql.com/ and for a reasonable fee direct from our skilled support engineers at http://www.mysql.com/support/

Thank you for your interest in MySQL.

Here we need you to prove problem is repeatable with latest MySQL software
