Thanks, now I have the version 1.2.17 but the problem still.
I created a new project, I selected the data base to do a backup but I can't see the tables.

Help me please.

Could you please use the Help menu option and read the chapter 16 - Backup and see if actually are you following the correct procedure to create and run a backup project. Thanks in advance.

Indeed, according the manual I am doing it correctly.

I select New Project again, I choose the data base (scheme) that I want to obtain the backup and with the button indicated go to Content of the Backup, but are not its tables. The data base is with check.

When I try tu save de project appears the error: "You have to specify some content for the backup"

Do you connect as root user to MySQL server? What version of server, x.y.z, are you working with?
[21 Oct 2009 20:16] Katty Rosero
Yes, I connect as root user.

Where I can see the version of server?? My aplication it's installed under Linux.

Thanks for your help.

To get server version you can connect to it with Query Browser or mysql command line client, using same host/port/user as with MySQL Administrator, and execute:

select version();

I need to know the results.
