Thank you for the report. Did you upgrade MySQL server? Did you run mysql_upgrade if so?

Hello, No, i did neither upgrade MySQL server nor run mysql_upgrade. I got that error immediately after installing wamp 2.0. Cordially.

Thank you for the feedback. This can be problem of wamp package which we don't support. Please try our binaries available at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads and inform us if problem exists with them as well.
