Abhinav, Two weeks ago we experienced some problems with MyODBC 3.51.16 mirrors resulted in corrupted packages. These problems have already been fixed, but it is strongly recommended to check MD5 checksum of the package installed on your machine. On MyODBC download page you can find needed MD5 for checking: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html In case your package is ok please attach the ODBC driver log to the current bug report (#29799). FYI: driver manager logging can be enabled from ODBC Data Source Administrator/Tracing. You will need to specify the location of the log file and click "Start Tracing Now" button.

The problem with 3.51.17 is a different problem, it's the same as Bug #29888.
