Thank you for the bug report. I was able to install on Vista X64 with a package downloaded from an USA mirror, please try again downloading from another mirror (I attached a picture showing the ODBC manager on Vista X64 with the MyODBC driver). Thanks in advance.

Hello. My excuse! I downloaded and installed the driver. Note that I did more or less exclude a corrupt file since I did have the same problem with another mysql file as well. I must admit that I regulairly but not always check the md5. I also noticed other people complaining about the same error, with other mysql packages. Fore some unkown reasons, there seems to be corrupt files on the/some servers. Louis

I am trying to install my sql essential on 2k8. But it is showing error message like Can not install driver due to missing 'product.cab'. So please anyone help me to sort this issue.

I think here is the wrong place for your comment/question as the word "essential" must imply you were installing mysql server, not mysql odbc connector.
