Description:
Resizing the Sidebar in Query Browser will cause it to permanently disappear. A restart of the application is required in order to fix the problem.

See attached screen shot.

How to repeat:
1. Log into Query Browser
2. If the sidebar is not visible: Click View->Sidebar
3. Place the cursor between the sidebar and result pane
(the mouse will indicate that you can change the size of the side bar)
4. Left click and drag the mouse to resize the Sidebar
5. If you continue to move the mouse left (to make the Sidebar smaller) it will eventually disappear... forever!~

I checked the behavior and found it as it intended. It's not perfect, but you can easily get the sidebar back. If you drag the mouse far to the right and release the mouse button the side bar will entirely disappear. However you can still move the mouse near the right border of the application and it should again show the split cursor. Then you can double click or drag to the left and voilá, the side bar is there again. Keep in mind you have to drag the mouse so far to the left that you get over the minimal size, indicated by the dark line to make the side bar show again. Let me know if this works for you.

Hmmm...

If it were up to me, I would force the Sidebar to have a minimum width (i.e. 50px). If the user didn't want to see it, they could simply click View->Sidebar. It would be handy if the Sidebar also included a `Close` option similar to how IE and Firefox handle tabs.

I agree with, there could be some improvements. We will consider that in a future version of the tool. The minimum width is there however. You can see this when moving the splitter line, it will stop on its way to the right. If you try to make it smaller it disappears and you have to resize it beyond its minimal width before it reappears. As I said, it's not the best solution possible.
