Description:
I was trying to launch My SQL Workbench. I get an error saying "Error while loading image". When I click close on that window and try to open a connection from my list of established connections, SQL workbench tries to load and then I get another error saying "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem". If I click close on that error window, the window closes but I cannot access any of my connections.
  I have been having some other issues with MySQL Workbench since few days where I used to get error window with Ignore and Cancel options. Whatever I click, it wouldn't restore my SQL queries. I have attached the screenshots for your reference.

How to repeat:
Try launching My SQL Workbench. Click close on the error window saying "Error while loading image". Try to open a connection from list of established connections, SQL workbench tries to load and then I get another error saying "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem". Click close on that error window, the window closes but I cannot access any of my connections.
