Description:
Error 4012  has a misleading error description: "simple read or cluster failure",
especially since it happens during communication timeout. Something more suggestive would
be nice, hinting potential problems.

Suggested fix:
Change message.

A patch for this bug has been committed. After review, it may
be pushed to the relevant source trees for release in the next
