Description:
mysql-query-browser freezes when changing schema. This occurs with Redhat Fedora Core 3 and glibc 2.3.4-2.fc3.5. It happens when accessing the db remotely as well as via mysql.sock.

The problem seemed to have started after updating Fedora Core 3 glibc to the versions listed below.

glibc-common-2.3.4-2.fc3.5
glibc-headers-2.3.4-2.fc3.5
glibc-2.3.4-2.fc3.5
glibc-devel-2.3.4-2.fc3.5

How to repeat:
Open mysql-query-browser, click on another schema. mysql-query-browser freezes.

I could not find that version of glibc anywhere, but I did find:

I have tried reproducing the bug with that, but it didn't manifest itself.
Since it sounds like the version you upgraded to is a testing version, that could be
the cause. Please consider upgrading glibc to a newer version.
I will close the bug as 'Can't repeat'

I found the glibc versions in about two minutes on http://rpmfind.net.

Additionally, I upgraded to version 2.3.5-0.fc3.1 of the before-mentioned glibc packages with the same result. This is Fedora Core 3, which is not a test version. Your build for the Redhat packages are listed as 9.0, which will be (or has been) dropped from support from Redhat.
