Description:
Despite installing the Visual C++ run times (both 64 bit and 32 bit) I cannot install the ODBC connector getting the error 1918 -- all solutions for this have stated the VC++ 2010 run times should be installed as the solution - how can this be resolved as they are already installed...

How to repeat:
1) Install VC++ 2010 runtimes (x64 & x86) on Windows 2012 R2 server
2) Attempt to install MySQL ODBC connector v5.3
