Description:
Looks like mysql-5.6.26-osx10.9-x86_64.dmg file has 10.8 package. I just downloaded community server package for mac and noticed it.

How to repeat:
Download mysql community server mysql-5.6.26-osx10.9-x86_64.dmg package from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/ and open it. You will see mysql-5.6.26-osx10.8-x86_64.pkg file in it.

Suggested fix:
Provide proper pkg file according to OS X version.

This is not a bug. The osx 10.8 dmgs will also run on 10.9 hence we made them
available within a file named for 10.9.
