Hi,

There is no '1.0.13' version of MySQL Query Browser. Did you mean MySQL Administrator?
Anyway I tested with both MySQL Query Browser and MySQL Administrator and wasn't able to repeat it.

It seems to only work on my pentium 1 pro cpu and not my p3, but after updating to the new query browser it started to work properly. But now the administrator gets the same error when i click on the database under user information for root to allow access to my database central.

I get the same error message when attempting to click on a schemata under "Catalog" in the MySQL Administrator" application, ver 1.0.19.

The eror is:
"External exception C000001D"

I have to end the process in order to regain control of my system.

System Configuration:
Compaq Prolinea 6150e - Pentium Pro 150 Mhz
Windows 2000 Pro SP 4
128 Meg RAM
370 Megabytes available HD
MySQL Ver 4.1
MySQL Administrator ver 1.0.19.
MySQL Query Browser 1.1.5

I get the same error. The common factor seems to be that we're encountering this error on Pentium Pro systems running Windows 2000 (anyone having the problem on NT4?).

On a clean install of the components listed below on the platform listed below, these steps result in External Exception C000001D every time:

Opening Administrator,
select user "root",
select the "schema privledges" tab,
and then click on "mysql" or "test" under "schemata"

A dialog box with the error appears until MySQL is terminiated via Task Manager.

Platform: Freshly built Windows 2000 Server with all service packs and patches running on an Intel VS440 (Venus) Pentium Pro 200MHz system.

Software:
MySQL Server V4.1.11-nt
MySQL Client V5.0.0
MySQL Administrator V1.0.20

I get the same exeption on my Pentium Pro 200MHz running NT4.0 sp6 128Mb ram, MySQL 4.1.12a via TCP/IP, MySQL Administrator 1.0.21, MySQL Client 5.0.4

I have also tested, and it runs flawless, under ME, 2000, XP-home and XP-Pro on Pentium II, Pentium III, Pentium 4 and Pentium M.

Bug #8359 seems to be connected. Same type of hardware same exception.

I get this same error when I try to select any database in MySQL admin using a fresh install of Administrator 1.0.21 and MySQL 4.1 on a machine Windows Server 2003 SP1 and a Pentium Pro, 180 MHz.
