Description:
When installing MySQL 5.7.1 on Windows 7 using the MySQL Installer, it also adds "MySQL Server 5.5.28" and "MySQL Server 5.1.66" to the list under the "Installation" section (where it says "The following products will be installed or updated").

I did not select these versions, as I only selected 5.7.1. I've tried it several times too, just to be sure. (I do have 5.5 and 5.1 installed on this machine, though my 5.5 is 5.5.32 and my 5.1 is 5.1.70. The previous 5.5 version was 5.5.30 and the previous 5.1 version was 5.1.68, so no match there either. It is possible that those were the first MySQL versions I installed using the msi for 5.5 and 5.1 though. But again, I did not select them to be updated, or otherwise.)

It does not let me "de-select" them.

Then, and I was glad it happened since I didn't want to download them in the first place, I clicked on "Execute" (so I could at least proceed), the downloads for 5.5 and 5.1 failed.

How to repeat:
1. Have previous installed versions of MySQL installed via an installer (say 5.5 and 5.1). Note I also have 5.0 installed on this machine, but that did not seem to cause any issue.

2. Download, install MySQL Installer and try to install 5.7.1 only.

Suggested fix:
Only install what is requested (and perhaps dependency-type wares), but not old versions. (That could be disastrous if it overwrote something it shouldn't have as well.)

Hello Chris Calender,

Thank you for the bug report.
Could you please try with latest versions of MySQL and let us know if you are still having the problem.

Thanks,
