Description:
MySql workbench crashed.  

How to repeat:
Connected to MySql 5.5 and MySQL 5.0.95 log concurrently. Allowed to sit open overnight while connected to multiple sessions and in the morning, Workbench errored out.

What exact version of Workbench, 5.2.x, do you use?

The version Number is 5.2.6 CE

Are you sure it's 5.2.6? We're in 5.2.40 right now.
