Description:
Default value CURRENT_TIMESTAMP not shown after 'Set DEFAULT CURRENT TIMESTAMP' is performed on selected table column.
The value is updated after when focus is lost.

How to repeat:
 'default value refresh':
1 open model;
2 double click a table header;
3 double click column name cell, enter column name, press <enter>;
4 type 'TIMESTAMP', press <enter>
5 right-click column and select 'Set DEFAULT CURRENT TIMESTAMP' -> default value cell is not updated until edit window loses input docus;
6 click somewhere else on model diagram -> default value cell is updated;

'crash' (may not work every time):
perform 'default value refresh';
perform 'default value refresh' without step 5;
perform 'default value refresh' without step 5;

I can not repeat neither crash nor not shown default value with 5.2.40 on Windows XP. Please, check if this newer version solves the problem for you. If it does NOT, please, send .mwb file that demonstrates the problem.
