I already tried to use compatibility in Windows XP SP2, tried to re-installing it and use -swendering at command prompt.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

How to repeat:
Execute the MySQL Workbench

Looks similar to Bug #63909. Please, start WB with the -log-level=debug3 option from the command line window and then attach the resulting wb.out file it creates before the crash.

Wb.log

Attachment: wb.log (application/octet-stream, text), 4.81 KiB.

Sorry for my rudeness not to include any comment in the description :(
At first I didn't know where to find the log file. But then I took a look at the other thread you link there, and here you go.

Your help will be very appreciated!

Hello Ahmad.
Can you please confirm if you have installed: "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)" in your system?
If not, can you please install it (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555) and give a second try?
Thanks.
