Thank you guys for the support so far, I can't find v 5.2.39 however I will do some searching for it. But I also don't understand how workbench is affected by it, since I'm trying a remote server in the cloud!!

Yeah guys, thanx it was my workbench version it seems to be crashing with ubuntu 11.10 so I used a patch from launchpad, let me know if you need that link.
