Bug #62422 Can't install "mysql" client using MySQL Installer without installing server

Description:
Once "Client Only" setup has been performed, MySQL refuses to install MySQL server.

(The fact that the "mysql" command line client program isn't included by default when doing a "Client Only" setup I would regard as a bug in itself.)

How to repeat:
1. Install mysql-installer-5.5.15.0.msi
   - choose Setup Type "Client Only"
   - accept defaults and complete installation.

2. Start->Program Files->MySQL Installer

3. Choose "Add/Modify Products and Features"

4. Under the "MySQL Server" choose "Client Programs" and click "Next".

5. On the "Check Requirements" dialog, click "Next".

On the "Installation Progress" dialog, only "Connector/NET 6.3.7" is shown, despite the fact I've already installed that.

7. Click "Execute".

No installation of the "mysql" client took place.

8. Click Finish.

You can repeat from step 2 all over again, exactly the same thing happens.

Additional:

I was able to succeed in the install by checking the "MySQL Server 5.5.15" in the *centre* pane and deselecting all but the client programs.

So it looks like no install is attempted unless the centre pane was explicitly ticked, rather than when it is filled in as a result of choosing options on the right pane alone.
