Description:
mysql-5.5.9-win32
mysql-workbench-gpl-5.2.31a-win32
Winodws Server 2003 SP2

MySQL is running fine, but I just did a fresh install of Workbench and I'm unable to start the application. I get an error screen with "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

I am able to run the old "MySQL Administrator 1.2.12" just fine.

How to repeat:
Everytime I try and run MySQL Workbench

I uninstalled the newest version of Workbench and installed mysql-workbench-oss-5.0.30-win32 and it works fine.

When the error dialog appears, right click on some blank area on it and then select Copy Stacktrace option then paste output here. Thanks

I think the problem was actually not mysql related but some of the RAM in the server has started going faulty. Did a memory test and its producing errors, so I ordered new memory for the server.

This problem was not a result of any bug in Workbench code it seems.
