Description:
I saw here a number of bug requests regarding this which is already closed.
But at least on Ubuntu 10.04 with WB v. 5.2.31 AFTER RELAUNCH OF APP:

- position of WB window is not saved
- maximized/minimized stated of WB window is not saved
- internal layout of databases list, Connection Information, SQL statement form (Scratch) and Results grid are not saved

How to repeat:
Open app -> see default layout ( http://i53.tinypic.com/zu1h6p.png )
Change a layout somehow (like here http://i56.tinypic.com/2a77hw1.jpg)
Close app
Relaunch it and you will see default layout again ( http://i53.tinypic.com/zu1h6p.png )

Suggested fix:
Make application to save position of all resizable elements of interface and window state.
