Description:

When I am trying to execute the commnad to show the structure of the table it throws the error : "ERROR 1030 (HY000): Got error 28 from storage engine
".

Other Commands like "select * from tableName;" shows the table content but I am not able to fetch the structure of the table. I am also able to create a new table and add content to the table. The error just thrown when I try to execute the command to see the structure of the table.

It also shows same error when I try the command : "SHOW COLUMNS FROM TableName;"
 What can be the possible solution for this? How can I resolve this error?
Please provide me urgent guidelines as my application get stuck due to this.
Please also suggest some workaround if available.

How to repeat:
$ desc TableName;

It gives the following error on the next line:
ERROR 1030 (HY000): Got error 28 from storage engine

$SHOW COLUMNS FROM TableName;
ERROR 1030 (HY000): Got error 28 from storage engine
