What exact version of MySQL Workbench, 5.x.y, and on what OS, do you use? I do not see this problem with 5.2.21 on XP.

Same here ... I don't see a problem on Linux with version 5.2.21.

Which OS do you use?

What screen resolution is set on those computers where you see the problem? In my case it is 1280x800...
[18 May 2010 13:54] Csaba Bukor
Yes! I think You find the problem!

Hi Csaba,
do you happen to have VMWare Workstation running alongside Workbench? I just stumbled upon the fact that this is only reproducible on my machine (Win7 x64, 2 Monitors, 1680x1050 and 1280x1024) when i have VMWare Workstation running and activate "View->Quick Switch" (which sets the VMWare window to fullscreen on current monitor ... thats how i usually use it on my 2nd Monitor while WB is running next to it on the First one).
Maybe its also another Program thats tweaking the window-management of windows and causing this issue. i can see the problem on my (1680x1050) monitor while VMware is running in this "Quick View" mode while everything behaves correctly if it isnt running or not maximized like this.
can you check again?
thanks in advance

Hi,
there are no any version of wmware installs on the computers.
I tested it again and the problem occured only in 1680x1050 resolution.
I'm very sorry, but I mixed the two resolutions in my last message.

Fixed in repository.

The problem was only repeatable for me if I used more than one monitor.

confirm fixed in current release

An entry has been added to the 5.2.25 changelog:

In the SQL Editor, if the Alter Routine dialog was maximized, the dialog buttons were no longer visible.
