Description:
The "place sidebar on the right side" preference doesn't work as specified. Sidebar is still on the left. Also, the "Toggle Sidebar" button on the toolbar doesn't work, either.

How to repeat:
For the preference - Open Preferences, visit the General tab, and check/uncheck "Place Sidebar on the Right Side." The sidebar remains on the left instead.

For the button - Just click "Toggle Sidebar" and watch it change nothing.

Suggested fix:
Use a native Cocoa drawer instead?

while the toggle-sidebar works in model view, it does not in query mode.

the 5.2.18 beta (rev 5648) still does not have the sidebar preference in question working in the query editor view; the sidebar remains on the left, even when "Place Sidebar on Right Side" is checked on. the toggle sidebar button functionality does now work, however.

fix confirmed in repository.
current tab (document or query-tab) need to pe re-opened for the change to take effect.

An entry has been added to the 5.2.19 changelog:

The MySQL Workbench preference to locate the sidebar on the right did not work. Further, the Toggle Sidebar button did not function.
