Description:
hey -

i had to post a question on the forum to figure out how to make a given database current.

how 'bout having a RIGHT-CLICK option that lets me set the default database?

there are a couple of spots there i notice where i would have assumed the RIGHT-CLICK option would have been available. thats where i would look for it!

thanks,
mark

How to repeat:
feature, not bug

Suggested fix:
have a RIGHT-CLICK option when i point to any database with the cursor.

There is a new context menu item "Set as Default Schema" applicable for schema nodes in schemata tree and physical overview panel of Query Editor. Previously the only way to change default schema was to select schema in schema selector placed at the top of schemata tree.

Thanks.

A 'change' entry has been added to the 5.2.22 changelog:

The SQL Editor now includes a new context menu item Set as Default Schema. This is applicable to schema nodes in the Object Browser and the Overview panel of the Query Editor. Previously the only way to change the default schema was to select the schema from the schema selector drop-down listbox located at the top of the Object Browser.
