Description:
I started WB, opened an existing model, immediately closed it then quickly reopened it.  This causes unhandled exceptions and crashes.  Also appears to fully hang, cannot clear warning pop-ups.  Have to terminate process using Task Manager.

See above.

Suggested fix:
Don't crash.

have been able to repeat on windows using your file provided.
confirm fix. will be included in 5.2.12

An entry has been added to the 5.2.12 changelog:

Opening a model file, closing it and quickly reopening it caused MySQL Workbench to hang.
