Description:
mysql version 5.0.45

when i try to backup this version of mysql server with 1.2.12 of advanced versions mysql administrator i found that backup is incomplete

How to repeat:
install version 5.0.45 or near about version
try to backup with mysql gui 1.2.10
try to backup with mysql gui 1.2.12 or 1.2.17

you will find if version 1.2.10 is generating around 130 mb file 1.2.12/17 is generating only 60 - 70 mb file.

when this file is opened in notepad it is not finished.

Suggested fix:
i found that only mysql administrator 1.2.10 version can make a backup of this server.

Thank you for the bug report. Are you able to provide the complete backup file of the database, so we can restore and test what are you reporting. On my own I couldn't repeat. Thanks in advance.

kindly use 1.2.10 version mysql gui tool to backup any database and use 1.2.17 to backup same database the size of file will be almost 50 % in case of 1.2.17.

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Administrator into MySQL Workbench. We won't fix this anymore.

More informations about MySQL Workbench you will find here:
