Description:
It should be possible to give captions a solid background so crossing connector lines don't interfere with their readability, like it was possible with DBDesigner 4.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.1.1, and here is the changelog entry:

A caption can now have a solid background in in classic relationships
and/or tables.
