Description:
If I close an event, either via the batch control at top or via the 'close' link in the event's same row, the check box for that position in the displayed event table becomes grayed out even after the page refreshes (and the closed event is no longer displayed). See attachment: 2 events are no longer selectable even tough they are open.

Workaround:
If I page forth and back in this tab, or go to another tab and come back, the check box(es) is (are) available again. Also, the 'close' link in the event's same row is still usable.

How to repeat:
- close any number of events
- wait for the page to refresh
- observe that the open events shown have their check box (left most column) grayed out and not selectable
- notice further that new events after this point will also be added (in this page) with grayed out check boxes

An entry was added to the 2.1.0 changelog:

When an event was closed, the row in the event table where the event entry was located had its checkbox disabled, even though the event now in that row was open. This happened regardless of whether the Close button, or the close link were used to close the event.
