Description:
When adding a new connection using Workbench 5.2, the fields for hostname, username, password and default schema accept values, but only show the top half of the letters. Once the values are accepted, the fields show the complete entered value.

How to repeat:
Add a new connection

An entry was added to the 5.2.8 changelog:

In the Manage DB Connections dialog, the text fields Username, Password, and Default Schema accepted text, but as the text was being entered only the top half of the characters typed was displayed. However, once the text had been submitted, the characters were displayed correctly.
