Description:
At MySQL Contributor's BOF at UC 2009.

"External contributions are tracked in bugdb"

Please track progress on merging this feature.

How to repeat:
CREATE PROCEDURE ... LANGUAGE Perl does not work.

This is a side note on this issue, in order to relate it to an "internals" list discussion.

Thanks to Kostantin ("Kostja") Osipov's review, this is proceeding elsewhere, too: http://lists.mysql.com/internals/36569 ... 

Ideally, while we should be using only one of these channels, both "Bugs db" and "internals" channels allow for two-way interactions which makes them more ideal than the present WL for this kind of review. 

Ultimately, we should update the state of this bug as things evolve. 

Antony, you could also do any updates -- based on Konstantin's feedback -- and attach it here if you like, for further review. (I assume you no longer have write-access, except for comments, on the Worklog system.)
