Verified using Workbench 5.1.9-beta on MacOS 10.5.6 Zooming in/out using the Navigator crashes ("beach-ball-effect"!). Using the menu, it appears that zooming works. Schema doesn't have to be really complex. I just loaded the first one I found, with just one foreign key, and like 30 tables. Attaching crash report.

This is caused by a bug in cairo 1.8.x, updating to development version from git solves the issue. Next release will be linked to updated version.

An entry was added to the 5.1.10 changelog: Using the Navigator to zoom in and out of an EER diagram view caused Workbench to crash.
