Description:
Zooming in and out of a populated ESR diagram caused a beachball and subsequent crash. This seems to only occur when the ESR graph is populated (empty graphs do not cause this issue)

How to repeat:
Open up a relatively complex schema (mine makes use of multiple foreign keys, views, etc.). Open up the ESR graph and try to zoom in and out using the slider on the navigation pane (upper right box).

Suggested fix:
Zooming in and out should not crash.

Here is the section I am referring to when zooming in/out

Verified using Workbench 5.1.9-beta on MacOS 10.5.6
Zooming in/out using the Navigator crashes ("beach-ball-effect"!). Using the menu, it appears that zooming works.

Schema doesn't have to be really complex. I just loaded the first one I found, with just one foreign key, and like 30 tables.

Attaching crash report.

This is caused by a bug in cairo 1.8.x, updating to development version from git solves the issue.
Next release will be linked to updated version.

An entry was added to the 5.1.10 changelog:

Using the Navigator to zoom in and out of an EER diagram view caused Workbench to crash.
