Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead. hmm, sorry, bug#4142 says fixed in 4.0.20d reopened.

yep the installer is fixed and now says 4.0.20d but in phpmyadmin it shows as 4.0.20a
