Description:
In Query Browser, you cannot edit a table that the name starts with a number. (i.e. 10_table). This was seen on Vista 64 bit. It was not seen running on XP32bit.

How to repeat:
Create a table that starts with a number make sure to create a primary key
Launch Query browser
Query for the data in the table
The Edit button is disabled.

Thank you for the bug report. I was able to repeat on XP 32-bit too.

I had a prior version of Query browser where this wasn't a problem. Unfortunately I no longer have that machine so I cannot say which version it was.

What's the status on this? I'm having intermittent problems with being unable to edit certain tables. I'm on XP using MySQL Admin 1.2.16 and my table name does not start with a number. This is an important issue. If I can't update field values then what's the point of using mysql admin at all?

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has already been fixed in the latest released version of that product, which you can download at

I am still seeing this same problem using Query Browser 1.2.17. Which build has the fix?

I am also having the same problem. The current version of MYSQL Query Browser (1.2.17) does not allow me to edit tables that contain a number as the first character. Went back to version 1.2.12 on an older machine and was able to edit the record. I downloaded the latest version and reinstalled. I have had no success fixing the problem.

Where can I obtain a earlier version (i.e. 1.2.12) to download until this problem is fixed.
