Description:
At least on Windows, a root@production.mysql.com user is also created in additional to root@localhost and root@'127.0.0.1'

How to repeat:
Install on Windows, then SELECT user,host,password FROM mysql.user

Suggested fix:
Don't put in that entry!

Note that this is the MSI installer doing, not the config wizard (which may modify the grants also).

Duplicate of bug: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=32219.
See last Paul's comment it will be fixed in 5.0.52.
