Description:
In some cases trying restore a backup file of MYSQL 4.0.16, mysql administrator restores always any same tables of the backup file but breaks execution with error:

The following Exception ocurred:
Access violation at address 00626627 in module 'LIBMYSQL.dll'. Read of address 00000000

How to repeat:
Don't know, because it appears only with some backup files.

I have experienced this. I'm running the Administrator (version 1.0.3 ALPHA) on WinXpPro.

I did a backup from MySQL 3.23.41 (platform?) and restored to MySql 4.0.16-standard on Linux via the MySQL Administrator GUI. I received this error when it was importing data on a particular table. All other data was imported. It appears to have broken on a certain row, because only 27 of 329 records were imported for that particular table. Records with "day" values up to "3:1" are inserted, then the restore breaks. Here is the relevant section of the backup xml file (sorry it so lengthy, but I wanted to post the two full lines of relevant data):

Clarification to my previous comment that I just made: I should have said the backup _SQL_ file, not _XML_ file.

I experienced the same bug in version in 1.03 alpha while trying to restore a database. Returning to version 1.01 alpha resolved the problem.

Does anybody know where to download previous stable versions, say 1.02 ?

hi there, i also have this kind of problem. i use the mysql administrator version 1.0.3 Alpha to do the backup in one pc and then i go to another pc to restore the details. but before that i notice that my table's contain have about 7000++ records in it. before i do the backup i set the advanced options. first i set the backup options to single transactions before my database is using InnoDB type. then i set the second options that is output file options. i tick the add drop table statement and the default complete inserts. then i do the backup. 
after that i go to another pc to restore the database. i cannot restore the sql file that i just backup. i give the the following error

Don't know what happen. this error doesn't appear everytimes i do my restore. i don't know whether this error only occur if my tables's records are too many big or what? hope to give some help on this.

I have the same issue too. please help

I have an MySQL 5.0.21 installed in windows 2000 server and things are working good until this monday sept 13, 2010. When i go to MySQL administrator and click on Backup, then i select my backup projects i got an error messages:

Access violation at address 0032535A in module 'libmysqlx.dll'. Read of address 00000000 

I can't perform my backup anymore and select my data anymore.

Hoping for your suggestion and solution.
