I'd like to raise the priority of this, I can find no way to select a hidden layer! Therefore this is a loss of functionality with no workaround.

A context menu has been added where layers and other objecs can be selected or edited.

An entry was added to the 5.1.15 changelog: Double-clicking a layer in the Layers tab did not select it in the EER Diagram canvas. However, other objects in the Layers tab could be selected on the EER Diagram canvas in this manner.
