Description:
Selecting Export > Forward Engineer ALTER script... from the File menu opens a "SQL
Script Synchronization" import dialog rather than the export dialog.

Thank you for a bug report. Verified just as described.

we consider better naming, but It's not a critical bug (creation of a synchronization
script is what Forward engineer ALTER script actually does)

A note has been added to the 5.0.17 changelog:
