Description:
Hi All,

there is no client section in the selection, that's why I choose server.
My feature request is not easy to implement. But I think, we need it. Therefor I want to explain it:

Lots of software, like OpenOffice, KDE, PostgreSQL, Firefox use the language of the locale from the user. That means, my locale is German, when I start psql (PostgreSQL Client) or KDE or Openoffice, all is in German.

When I start MySQL the client (mysql) is in English. I just can get the error messages in German. It would be much nicer, the client also talks German to me. Not only the text, you'll get after starting it. It will be nice, that the whole \ section, especially \h SQL-COMMAND, is in the native user language.

It's not timely, just providing an english client.

Of course I know, the realisation needs lots of work ...

Kind Regards,

Susanne

How to repeat:
it is just a feature request
