The writing of errors to the event log, and the classification of those errors, has been added into the discussion on the Error Log.

You have not addressed this issue! There is still no documentation, on how to turn on/off the windows event log reporting (if it is possible). The fact something has been added to the discussion is not a resolution. The discussion does not mention any of the points I have listed in this report.

David - You cannot turn it off - if the event log has successfully been accessed by mysqld, then Info/Warnings are reported to it. That's why the current wording says 'In addition...'. I'll add a note that this is not configurable. I suggest you open a separate dev bug requesting configurable event log selection.

Updated the details to note that Event Log reported cannot be configured or switched off.
